In this role, you will help maintain and facilitate a positive office environment through creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for employees. Some responsibilities include:
Performing an office inventory and help get us/keep us stocked in all supplies (food and non-food related)
Managing filing system. Ensure the office is kept clean tidy at all times - Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
Maintaining office equipment as needed. Manage all company hardware including computer equipment.
Being the “Face of Tala” by welcoming guests and candidates, giving tours as well as being a brand representative at all Tala hosted events
Assisting the team in planning all events and any facilities changes such as moving or space management.
Coordinating logistics for US or KE team’s market visits.
Being a champion and cheerleader of Tala.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Business, Finance, Procurement or any related field.
1-2 years of experience in office management especially in a start-up
Have a positive and service-oriented attitude.
Organized and efficient
Self-starter that is able to pick up on projects and “run” with it
Ability to multi-task and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
Detail-Oriented
Basic MS Office suite experience/Google suite experience (Basic number crunching, presentation skills, documentation skills)
Fluent in English
Great communication skills.
An ability to understand and follow specific and detailed instructions.
