TAXATION & COMPLIANCE ACCOUNTANT - (AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY)
 
HR World Limited on behalf of our reputable client in Automotive Industry we are looking for Taxation and Compliance Accountant.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

1. CORPORATE TAX
  • Preparation and submission of provision returns and timely payment of quarterly tax as declared in provisional returns.
  • Liase with tax consultants for computation of yearly tax charge and timely submission of annual returns.
2. VALUE ADDED TAX
  • Daily posting of customs clearance payments (CIC transfers) and maintain proper filing and custody of the journal vouchers and supporting documents
  • Performing turnover reconciliation on monthly basis
  • Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns
3. PAYROLL TAXES
  • Coordinating with HR department payment for PAYE and SDL
  • Reconciliation and allocation of payroll taxes control accounts
4. WITHHOLDING TAXES
 
  • Arranging for WHT payment schedule as per GL posting and processing payment
  • Issuing with holding tax certificates to suppliers
 
5. STAMP DUTY
  • Review and identify company transactions with stamp duty liability, arrange for payment schedule as per GL posting and process payment
  • Reconciliation and allocation of NSSF and TUICO contributions control accounts
6. OTHER STATUTORY PAYMENTS
 
  • Coordinating with HR department payment for NSSF and TUICO contributions
  • Coordinating with inventory and cost control accountant for timely payment of city service levy

QUALIFICATIONS;

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Must be a CPA Holder
  • Atleast 5 years working experience in similar position.
