For efficient execution of its duties, Pact Tanzania is looking for enthusiastic, creative, energetic individuals to fill the following vacant positions:

Position Purpose:
The Technical Services Coordinator- Child Protection and Parenting serves as an active member of the program team for the implementation of Pacts USAID Kizazi Kipya project, focused on improved care, health, nutrition, education, protection, livelihoods, and psychosocial well-being among Orphans and Vulnerable Children and their caregivers. The coordinator will ensure technical cohesion and high-quality implementation of the project's child protection and parenting initiatives.

Specific Duties
• The Technical Services Coordinator must develop a close working relationship with the sub-grantees providing OVG services at the community level as well as' other local stakeholders. The coordinator will:
• Support the technical department to disseminate updated guidance\ standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other job-aids in two key areas 1) parenting initiatives and 2) child protection activities.
• Provide technical capacity development and mentoring to sub-grantees in the areas of child protection child safeguarding, and parenting initiative.
• Co-develop work plans with sub-grantees and monitor their progress in these technical areas; Monitor sub grantee adherence to technical guidance and quality of implementation.
• Conduct/support rapid needs assessments of functionality of violence against children 01AC) systems and develop report of findings; support development of training plan based on identified gaps with relevant stakeholders.
• Provide support to referral systems to ensure survivors of VAG receive appropriate support in a timely manner; use quality improvement approaches to strengthen the system and improve referral outcomes.
• Participate in child protection and one-stop center quarterly meetings to discuss progress in the areas of VAC prevention, response, and referral systems.
• With District Executive Director, District Medical Officer and District Social Welfare Officer, conduct supportive / supervision and mentoring of Assistant Social Welfare Officer with regards to abuse-related case management.
• Coordinate and support refresher trainings identified during the needs assessment in the areas of child abuse prevention and response, case conferencing, etc.
• In councils with non-existing child' protection structures, support introduction and familiarization meetings among the district stakeholders or district implementing partners where they exist; develop action plan in collaboration with sub-grantee and other local stakeholders on how to respond to child abuse cases.
• Coordinate, support, and monitor the roll out of parenting activities for young children and ensure high quality and efficient implementation, working closely with consortium partners and other local stakeholders.
• Coordinate, support, and monitor the pilot of a parenting program aimed at violence reduction for adolescents and their caregivers.
• Participate in training for Training of the Trainers, and support the roll out of quality cascading trainings
• Work in partnership with local government authorities as appropriate including but not limite'd to District Social Welfare Officers, health facilities, police, District Child Protection Teams, and Community Development Officers.
• Submit timely child protection and parenting written updates to the Technical Integration Cluster Manager for inclusion in the quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports
• Document lessons learned and best practices for experience sharing and replication.
• Contribute to adolescent school-based and vocational training activities as needed.
• Technical services coordinator based in Dar will participate in relevant national level meetings and workshops as appropriate.
• Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the Technical Integration Cluster Manager

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor in relevant field Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in at least one of the following technical areas: Social work, OVC care, child protection, early childhood development, and/or parenting
• Fluent in both written and spoken English & Kiswahili
• Experience with PEPFAR 3.0 funded projects in Tanzania
• Experience in training/workshop facilitation, mentoring and proven ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships with Government and other NGO counterparts.
• Experience in donor-funded programs with demonstrated capacity to create and/or maintain complex systems and procedures involving multiple implementation sites, multiple partners and diverse beneficiaries
• Diplomacy and negotiation skills that demonstrate ability to collaborate and coordinate with a range of stakeholders and Complex priorities
