TRANSPORT OFFICER
INDUSTRY: FMCG
HR World on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a Transport officer who will be responsible for cost effect and timely handling of logistics, maintenance of the company’s’ fleet.
Duties:
- Planning daily Operations by coordinating with other departments the requirements of the vehicle.
- Planning of Weekly Drivers shift rooster
- Daily Tracking of vehicles and submission of report.
- Handling vehicle maintenance and repair for inhouse and Offsite Jobs
- Submit reports in accordance with company guidelines
- Assign duties to Drivers
- Authorizing and monitoring fuel consumption
- Maintaining and follow up of vehicle checklist
- Supervising, Planning, and monitoring Company Mechanic on the tasks assigned within the workshop
- Ensure minimized downtime for all the vehicles
- Preventive maintenance for the fleet
- Timely requestion for purchase of all spare parts
Education, Skills Experience
- A Degree in any relevant discipline
- Minimum 4 Years’ Experience in the field of Transportation( managing a fleet of 100+ trucks)
- MS Office Skills ( Esp., Excel, Word and PPT)
- Excellent Communication Skills
