Reporting to: C&B Manager
Main responsibilities;
Oversee and manage the medical cover scheme by register the staffs and their dependents, monitoring performance, introducing improvements, attending cases
Liaise with EHS and advise/implement HR initiative in health issues of the company proactively on OHS perspective. Support EHS initiatives to drive employee engagement with JTI and maintain environmental health compliance
Champion and renovate Wellness program while proposing and implementing health practices to the company
Oversee the running of TCC Clinic operations. Checking and ensuring the registration of the clinic, fitness of Medical practioners working in the clinic to ensure work is done according to regulations and standards so that clinic services are to the right quality and the company is not exposed unnecessarily.
Oversee the running of TCC Canteen operations in line with wellness of our employee
Manage the contracted employees’ wellness programs (EWP) contracted service providers
Advising the business on key OHS and medical cases to support the decision-making process
Proactively guide the company on medical and employees’ wellness issues in the market
Qualifications and competencies
First degree in Medicine or related field.
A minimum of three years’ work experience with extensive exposure/interaction with occupational health and medical.
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Kiswahili language
