Job Title: ZONAL SITE COORDINATOR (4 POSTS)

Reporting to: ZONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Location: MWANZA MBEYA, MOROGORO

 

Job Purpose:

Zonal Site Coordinator will be responsible for roll-out, oversight and coordination of all implementing partners in the zone, including both internal and external partners. Site Coordinator is responsible for training, monitoring and supervising implementing partners and liaising with regional and zonal teams to support program operations. This would indude working with outreach teams to deliver services at KuwaMjanja (KM) activities, Quality Assurance (QA) teams to ensure the quality of KM providers and Monitoring &Evaluation(M&E) teams to ensure timely and accurate project data collection. This would also include coordinating with local partners to ensure all program activities are carried out and to a high standard.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinating with local government

  1. Compile and share plans and reports with local government
  2. Participate regional/ districts meetings and share project progress
  3. Coordinate regional staff site visits

Onboard, mentor and supervise all implementing partners

  1. Orient and train Community Based Organizations (CBOs) implementing partner in regions
  2. Coordinate with Monitoring &Evaluation (M&E) Advisor to develop program implementation QA checklists, to use during supervision visits
  3. Monitor activities using program implementation Quality Assurance (QA) checklists and feed data collected into data collection database.
  4. Provide additional support, training, and supervision in implementing partners identified via supervision visits
  5. Collect and review monthly reports from partners
  1. Support implementing partners to identify locations for sites and to launch designated number of sites
  2. Ensure all sites are in the appropriate locations and likely to reach to the target audience
  3. Ensure all sites have a girl-identified KuwaMjanja(KM) provider
  4. Ensure all sited meet standards and are engaged properly and following correct protocols
  1. Monitor implementing partners tb ensure the projected number of events and activities conducted
  2. Monitor adopter data to ensure program is on track for the projected number of adopters
  3. Identify challenges, problems, and support needed from other members of the field team and/or project team
  4. Conduct field visits to ensure activities conducted as reported and to quality standards
  1. Coordinate with zonal and regional QA teams to ensure KM providers are meeting QA standards (including Youth Friendly Services (YFS) standards)
  2. Coordinate identification of youth-friendly providers with support from girl screeners and periodic girl-screen reviews of KM providers
  3. Liaise with outreach teams to provide service delivery at KM events
  4. Coordinator with outreach teams, Medical Advisor and QA Manager to ensure outreach providers are girl-identified, trained on KM and meet QA standards
