HEAD OF SALES- GEOCHEMISTRY
HR WORLD on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a Head Of Sales for East Africa who will be responsible to prepare individual sales action plans in line with the overall sales strategy to ensure a targeted and focused approach.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Accountable for meeting annually established targets within approved expense budgets and for assigned territories.
• Follows the sales full cycle from lead generations, customer relations, through to close. Secures closure on all proposals and is responsible for follow up with clients after project completion
• Prepares client quotes, service agreements, proposals, responses to RFS, RFP’s or tenders within set deadlines ensuring professional submission of all information as requested by clients and with proper collaboration technical and operations functions to ensure that project scope, schedules and budgets are accurately planned, monitored, communicated and met.
• Conduct market analysis and utilize this to engage with Regional BD and Managers to develop plans in line with Global strategy.
• Implementation of these business plans in conjunction with local and regional teams.
• Make recommendation to clients of the various solutions the company offers and translate those into sales opportunities
• Liaise with technical/operations teams to ensure excellent communication channels exist to facilitate the successful handover and execution of the new and current business.
• Track competitor activity
• Maintain a database of clients with contact information
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS;

• Commercial Degree and/or Technical Degree – desired.
• Valid driver’s license (own transport).
• Minimum of 8years’ experience in sales, with a successful track record.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Chemistry and Mining.
• Willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, occasional overnight and weekend and/or evening work.
