About the Role

Ando Roofing Products Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our people strategy. As we continue to grow and expand across Tanzania, this role is crucial in driving a high-performance culture, managing the full employee life cycle, and ensuring our HR initiatives are perfectly aligned with our ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Policy Development & Implementation: Develop, review, and maintain comprehensive HR policies that are in strict compliance with Tanzanian labor legislation. Communicate updates effectively to all staff and ensure consistent application across the company.
  • Performance Management: Drive the performance cycle, including setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), conducting appraisals, and providing coaching to managers to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs, coordinate onboarding processes, and implement robust capacity-building programs to foster employee growth.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure full regulatory and statutory compliance, including timely and accurate reporting.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead end-to-end recruitment processes and strategic workforce planning to attract and retain top talent.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations and dispute resolution, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operational HR: Supervise the leave cycle management, time management, and payroll administration functions.
  • Health & Safety: Develop and enforce health and safety protocols in compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OSHA) standards.

Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in human resource management is considered an added advantage.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior HR leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, influencing, and coaching abilities are essential.
