Job Description

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the team in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts regularly.
• Post day-to-day transactions in the accounting systems.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Collaborate with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
• Monitor financial data and recommend improvements where necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Tally accounting software is a must.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to use Tally software to manage accounting processes efficiently.
