Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) is a national designated Public Postal operator established by Act of Parliament No. 19 of 1993 and became operational on 1st January, 1994. The Corporation is wholly owned by the Government of Tanzania and is dedicated in improving people’s lives. Currently, the Corporation is inviting qualified team players to join the Corporation’s major transformation initiatives and all the following vacancies;

POSITION TITLE: ACCOUNTANT II (10 POSTS)

Entry Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Advanced Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent Professional Level II intermediate stage module D.
Should have a good understanding of the accounting principles and should be a team player able to work in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
Should have good analytical communications, interpersonal and computer skills.
Should be not more than thirty-five (35) years of age.

Duties and Responsibilities
i. Verification of work done at lower levels.
ii. Keep financial records
iii. Review progress reports and initiate appropriate measures
iv. Handle correspondence with customers.
v. Supervise sectional staffs.
vi. Assist in the implementation of accounting and financial functions.
vii. Initiate proposals for changes and improvements in working procedures.
viii. Handling correspondences and queries on accounting matters.
ix. Any other duties may be assigned.

Duty station
Successful candidates will be stationed at the Tanzania Posts Corporation Offices in Tanga,
Shinyanga, Mbeya, Lindi, Ruvuma, Mara, Iringa and TPC Headquarters.

15.4 Remuneration:
The above posts carry competitive remuneration as per Tanzania Posts Corporation salary
structure and incentive package.
