Ardhi University has vacant positions in the Academic cadre. 1.0. SCHOOL OF SPATIAL PLANNING AND SOCIAL SCIENCES(SSPSS)
1.1. Assistant Lecturer
Required qualifications
i. The candidate must have a Master’s degree (from recognized Institution) in Community Development, Sociology, Rural Development or Development studies with at least a GPA of 4.0 out of 5 and a minimum of 3.8 out of 5 or its equivalent in the first degree.
ii. Additionally, one must have scored a B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent
1.2. Tutorial Assistant
Required Qualifications
i. The candidate must have a first degree in Economics (From Recognized Institution) with a minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5 or its equivalent
ii. Additionally, one must have scored a B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent
2.0. SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE CONSTRUCTION ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT (SACEM)
2.1. Tutorial Assistant(2 posts)
Required Qualifications
i. The candidate must have a first degree in Civil Engineering/ Structural Engineering (from a recognized institution) with a minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5 or its equivalent.
ii. Additionally, one must have scored a B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent
3.0. SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY(SEST)
3.1. Assistant Lecturer
Required Qualifications
i. The candidate must have a first degree in Civil Engineering/ Structural Engineering, water resources engineering, mineral Process Engineering or any other related field (from a recognized institution) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 out of 5 or its equivalent in the first degree.
ii. Additionally, one must have scored a B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent
iii. Additionally, one must have scored a B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent
3.2. Tutorial Assistant
Required Qualifications
i. The candidate must have a first Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering(From recognized institution) with a minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5or its equivalent.
ii. Additionally, one must have scored a B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent
4.0. SCHOOL OF EARTH SCIENCE, REAL ESTATE, BUSINESS STUDIES AND INFORMATICS(SERB)
4.1. Tutorial assistant
Required Qualifications
i. The candidate must have a first Degree in Accounting and /or Finance(From recognized institution) with a minimum GPA of 3.8 out of 5or its equivalent.
ii. Additionally, one must have scored a B+ in the relevant subjects or its equivalent
NOTE:
A tutorial assistant is expected to perform the following duties,
i. Undergo a Master’s degree training program
ii. Undergo an Induction course in pedagogic skills for those who had none before
iii. Understudy senior members including attending lectures and seminars, tutorials and practical training
iv. Conduct tutorials, seminars and practical’s
v. Assist in research, consultancy and outreach activities
vi. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by relevant authorities
Assistant Lecturer is expected to perform the following
i. Undergo an Induction course in pedagogic skills for those who had none before
ii. Carry out lectures, conduct tutorials, seminars and practical training.
iii. Prepare and present case studies.
iv. Conduct, publish and disseminate research results.
v. Recognize student with difficulties intervene and provide help and support.
vi. Participate in consultancy and community services under supervision.
vii. Attend workshops, conferences and symposia
viii. Perform any other duties that my be assigned by relevant authorities

REMUNERATION
In all post above staff will be employed as per Harmonized Scheme of Service for academic staff in public University and constituent colleges.
