Assistant Credit Controller

HR World Limited, on behalf of our client, is seeking for an Assistant Credit Controller who will be responsible for monitoring of debtor's accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily review and control of customers account including notes and customers advances.
  • Handle credit requests from sales team, share with credit manager and revert with recommendations from the sales team.
  • Draft credit contract and ensure they are fully signed.
  • Distribute customers' statement of account and follow up overdue debts, applying any interest charges in line with open account agreement.
  • Reconciliation between our statements and customer ledgers and visits customers as and when necessary for collections.
  • Sending demand letters to defaulting customers.
  • Approving jobs and orders for customers in the system.
  • Monthly completion of payments allocations with relevant invoices according to customers remittance advice.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or any other related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working as Credit Controller.
  • Good understanding of financial, accounting and control processes.
