Assistant Manager- Transactional Monitoring

Reports to: Head – Transactional Banking

Location: HEAD OFFICE, Tanzania

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Banking and Finance or related fields; a Master’s degree is an additional qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in banking or financial institutions.

Job Purpose:

To oversee and manage the relationships with Top borrowers ensuring efficient management of inflows and payments. Ensuring all financial transactions such as deposits and transfers are processed through the bank thus ensuring the loan covenants are met.

Duties:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Top Borrowers, serving as the primary point of contact for transactional banking services. Understand the specific needs of each borrower and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Monitor and oversee the processing of inflows and payments ensuring that all transactions are routed through the bank.
  • Ensure transactional activities are in line with the borrower’s loan agreement and financial covenants. Collaborate with Corporate RM’s to ensure adherence to terms and conditions outlined. Prepare regular reports on the financial status and breaches.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or line manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, Banking and Finance or related fields. A Master’s degree is an additional qualification.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, loan covenants and financial risk management.
  • General Knowledge of operating systems/banking products and customer service delivery systems will be an added advantage
