We are now looking for another team mate to join us in Mkuranga Plant as Automotive Electrical Fitter.

As an Automotive Electrical Fitter at Knauf Gypsum Tanzania Limited, you will be responsible for addressing and resolving electrical issues in automotive machinery and equipment at the plant. This includes the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.


What you'll be doing:

  1. Maintain and repair electrical wiring, systems, and components in automotive machinery and equipment.
  2. Use specialized diagnostic equipment to identify electrical issues and faults in automotive plant machinery.
  3. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and to prevent breakdowns.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including details of repairs and maintenance conducted.
  5. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Company regulations, plant guidelines, and safety standards.
  6. Adhere to workplace safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure a safe working environment.
  7. Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
  8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical systems and Plant machinery.

  • Diploma/Vocational training in industrial electrical systems or relevant qualification.
  • Proven experience as an electrical fitter or in a similar role within an automotive manufacturing environment. Possessing knowledge in mechanics is considered an added advantage.
  • Experience with modern industrial electrical systems and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components used in automotive machinery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
