Bancassurance Manager (Principal Officer)

HR WORLD LTD on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Bancassurance Manager (Principal Officer) who will be responsible for overseeing the Bancassurance business of the bank, business growth as well as the profitability of the bancassurance portfolio through sales and enhancement of its product and services. The Bancassurance Manager will be also responsible for identification of Risks associated with bancassurance portfolio of bank and mitigation of the same.
Responsibilities
- Visiting corporate customers, branches, and teams nationwide to nurture existing relationships and cultivating new business prospects.
- Responsible for the operations of the bancassurance business and be a representative of the bank in all matters of bancassurance business with regulatory authorities.
- Support the Consumer Banking Management in the constant evaluation and upgrading of all processes to achieve business objectives.
- Reviewing actual performance against strategic and financial plans and taking appropriate action to assist Specified personnel in achieving their objectives.
- Creates awareness of the Bancassurance solutions within the bank through roadshows and training across all teams to create confidence amongst the teams to use and sell the product.
- Coordinates with the marketing team to ensure that all branches are provided with product brochures and tariff guides.
- Ensure seamless and consistent customer experience levels aligned to group objectives.
- Lead the evaluation of products, solutions and its offerings versus the demands of the market using insights obtained from working with the segments and partnering insurance companies and conducting customer surveys.
- Responsible for all products, product pricing and benefits negotiations with underwriters to develop products to enhance the overall customer value proposition for each segment.
- Leading and motivating team members, empowering them for growth through periodic training and development sessions.
- Regularly engage with key management members, ensuring timely and comprehensive dissemination of relevant information to maintain their awareness and understanding of ongoing developments
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Insurance, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Finance or any other related field from a recognized institution.
- 5–10 years of experience in the financial services industry, particularly in insurance or bancassurance.
- Proven track record in insurance product development, sales, or distribution, preferably within the banking sector.
- Experience in managing partnerships between banks and insurance companies, including vendor management and strategic alliances.
