DCB Commercial Bank Plc is a private bank dedicated at uplifting the standard of living of low and middle-income people in Tanzania for more than 20 years. The Bank has a total of 9 branches; 8 branches in Dar es Salaam and 1 branch in Dodoma.
In line with the current strategy, we are looking to recruit a Business Analyst who is excellent at financial data interpretation with outstanding integrity and good record of achieving set objectives.
Reporting to the Manager, Strategy and Performance, the Business Analyst will be responsible for key financial performance ratio, identifying root causes, quantitatively and qualitatively presenting findings to the bank’s varied stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interacting with business units to determine reports requirements and recommend for improvement.
- Preparing monthly performance packs and comments on the business variances.
- Providing revenue assurance report on monthly basis for both interest income and interest expenses.
- Analyzing variances actual budget vs budget and describe on the cause of variance.
- Consolidate data and prepare competitor analysis on quarterly basis.
- Preparing periodic reports on the strategy implementation, challenges and its implications for management consumption.
- Preparing quarterly board reports timely as per the annual board calendar.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Statistics and related field.
- CPA/ACCA/CFA/ICMA is an added advantage.
- 3 years’ relevant working experience.
- Competent in Ms Office usage especially excel and PPT.
