Recent expansion in the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region means that there is a fantastic opportunity for an established Business Development Executive to support the organisation’s growth ambitions in MEA. Ideally, to be based in Tanzania, you will work closely both with Nexia’s member firms within the MEA region and also with the central Nexia team based in London to help drive and deliver on business development opportunities. You will be fully responsible for opportunity management throughout the project capture life cycle while being fully responsible for planning, controlling, directing and executing all activities from opportunity assessment to proposal submittal. You will be committed to a highly proactive, process-driven approach and must possess excellent organizational skills.

Main responsibilities

·         Identify potential clients, especially Donor/Government Agencies that frequently award large scale cross border assignments in the region

·         Take necessary action to enlist Nexia as one of the pre qualified service providers of such potential clients who are eligible to receive RFPs

·         Closely monitor opportunities that come across such portals/platforms to identify and qualify new business opportunities in the light of Nexia MENA’s qualification and capacity

·         Lead the entire Business Development life cycle from Capture to pre-proposal planning through proposal submission

·         Serve as Proposal Manager, Writer, and Integrator

·         Manage development of proposal schedules, compliance matrices, contact lists and other proposal tools

·         Coordinate with Partners who will lead proposal meetings and reviews throughout the proposal development process, including facilitation of solution and strategy sessions

·         Contribute to or lead proposal content; i.e. management, staffing, personnel, institutional capacity, and past performance sections; and/or provide direction to others drafting content, including recommending examples to meet RFP specifications

·         Provide oversight in the compilation of partner materials to ensure the submissions are accurate, complete and received on time; including, communicating with partners to finalize NDAs, Scopes of Work, and coordinate and align proposed roles with technical, pricing and contract leads

·         Oversee production and review all proposal content to ensure quality and consistency and conduct final RFP compliance review

·         Lead or participate in internal lessons learned meetings and recommend process improvements as appropriate

·         Participate in pre-RFP capture efforts where applicable, including collecting and organizing capture plan documentation, facilitating and leading capture strategy sessions

·         Create, update and manage business development tools and processes to make proposal development more efficient

·         Ensure compliance with Nexia International’s Global Visual Branding Standards at all times.

·         Speak fluently English whilst Arabic and French will be an added advantage.
