Role purpose:
- Support the strategic and business development initiatives within Vodacom Business
- Support business analysis to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Manage administrative tasks for the Executive office and the rest of departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate VBU employee engagement.
- Coordinate team activities to foster collaboration and synergy across departments.
- Contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives through effective support and coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Support the analysis new business initiatives results, identify issues, and recommend solutions through insights:
- Collaborate with Heads of Departments on key actions and agreed action points: This involves working closely with department heads to implement key actions and ensure that agreed-upon action points are being followed through effectively.
- Assist in preparation of regular engagement activities such as monthly and quarterly reviews or meetings by collaborating with relevant stakeholders to gather necessary information and insights.
- Coordinate operational matters, This involves engaging with senior management on both administrative and operational matters, and following up on action items
- Tracking action items for each department head within the Vodacom Business team, regularly updating the status of these actions.
- Additionally, the role may require undertaking other duties as assigned by VBU leadership demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to fulfil the needs of the business.

- Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills translated from customer insights both internal and external.

- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to anticipate customer, competitor, and market dynamics.
- Able to challenge the status quo.
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
- Degree in Economics /Actuarial Science
- A minimum of at least 3 years’ experience of administrative and coordination experience within a commercial environment.
- Telecommunications experience would be advantageous.
