ACDI/VOCA is currently seeking a Business Planning specialist for an upcoming volunteer assignment in Tanzania. ALPHA Agrovets Supplier Ltd is requesting volunteer assistance to help develop a business plan to expand their operations into logistics management. As well as working on the business plan, the volunteer will conduct a feasibility assessment and a cost benefit analysis on the expansion, and will assess the host's current record keeping and financial management systems. The assignment will last for approximately four weeks in country, in addition to preparation and research prior to departure. Travel and living expenses are covered.

Volunteer Qualifications

• A University degree in Business, Agribusiness, Commerce or other relevant area
• At least ten years relevant work experience, with experience developing business plans
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Proficient computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel
