Job Summary

Due to our strong pipeline of projects within the transportation field, we may have an opening for an experienced Chief of Party (COP).

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall program management and implementation ensuring application of international best practices consistent with client expectations and abilities
  • Ensures program results and outcomes including client satisfaction, timely deliverable submission, assignment completion, and quality assurance and control
  • Supervises all field-based program technical staff, consultants, locally-hired support staff, and partners

Minimum Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Civil Engineering, ideally related to hydropower, water resources management, water sanitation and supply management, natural resources management, climate change or other relevant fields
  • 20 years of Project Management experience of infrastructure projects
  • Prior Chief of party or equivalent experience on infrastructure projects of at least a USD10 Mil value
  • Deep understanding of, and experience working in, the infrastructure sector, natural resource management, IWRM, public-private partnerships and/or donor funding.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing complex programs in Africa.
