Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Tracking and updating shipment location and clearing status.
- Gathering documents and physically filing all shipment documentation.
- Gathering documents and updating the electronic shipment and client database.
- Performing any other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the position.
- Online GCLA applications for importations, transport, and cargo exportations.
- Ensuring all Local shipment updates are timely done for all other clients.
- Tracking and ensuring all current shipment ETA’s are updated and any issues are timely communicated.
- Preparing properly drafted letters with no grammatical errors.
- Ensuring Online TFDA applications are done as soon as a full set of documents are received.
- Preparing and lodging flatbed letters upon shipment arrival.
- Ensuring all shipment releases are attached to the Google folder and uploaded to the clearing intranet folder.
- Properly scanning and saving clearance invoices and receipts on the respective shipment folders on Google Drive.
- Attaching JC on a smart sheet for each respective shipment.
- Adding new shipments on a smart sheet once new pre-alerts are received.
- Checking and cross-checking all pre-alert documents received and requesting necessary information.
Education, Skills & Qualifications
- Post-Graduate Education in business management or a similar field of study.
- Operations Management (Desired)
- 3 years’ experience in operations management and clearing/forwarding
- IT Literate, specifically on all MS Office applications and data management systems.
- Logistics / Service Support experience
- Innovative and creative thinking
- Excellent customer management skills
- Strong initiative and problem-solving techniques
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- Strong Communication Skills
