Recruitment profile: Communications Officer Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive communication and visibility strategies

Position details
Commitment: Full-time role
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with the possibility of occasional travel
Expected Starting Date: As soon as possible
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Politics, International Relations, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in PR and Communications, Marketing, and Stakeholder Relationship Management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Swahili.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office, social media applications and team communication platforms e.g. slack.
- Proficiency in developing and managing strategic communication plans.
- Ability to manage and coordinate events.
- Strong leadership qualities and experience in team management.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with and mobilize diverse stakeholders. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
