Mwananchi Communications Limited publishers of leading Tanzania newspapers, Mwananchi, Mwanaspoti, and The Citizen are looking for a motivated and highly experienced individual to fill the position of Creative Designer
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this job is to create and develop communication material for Mwananchi Communications Limited Brands and providing oversight on the execution of the communication elements.
Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key result areas:
- Originating creative ideas;
- Executing graphic designs;
- Guiding the commercial teams to prepare and develop creative briefs and concepts;
- Tracking the performance of MCL Internal Advisements to ensure they achieve the intended objectives;
- Competitor Analysis – Review and Conduct market intelligence on competitors Ads;
- Presenting final approved artworks and packaging them in desired formats and sizes;
- Develop compelling and creative solutions for internal and external Adverts;
- Develop promotional design solutions adaptable marketing executions across all mediums – TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor, and Online.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic design or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in adobe illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign;
- Adobe suite, skills in video editing and motion graphics are an added advantage
- At least 4 years working experience.
- Capacity to deliver projects with tight deadlines
- Interpretation of client briefs into creative design communication
- Understanding of importance and maintenance of the organizations’ brand identity.
