The vacancy is at a conservation company. They have been preserving African wilderness for the past two decades. Through an exceptional safari experience with 12 award-winning [URL Disabled]across South Africa, Tanzania and Zimbabwe, the company is able to partially fund the protection and preservation of pristine land and existing [URL Disabled], not to mention help create economic independence within [URL Disabled]surrounding the reserves.

Looking for an experienced report writing professional who can assist with spec’ing and write a suite of management reports, and also with ‘auditing’ the accuracy and efficiency of the current reports in use and who can suggest enhancements thereto.

The vacancy is for an independent contractor for a 4-6 month contract period to assist with the development of financial reporting in Syspro (uses Crystal) and potentially also in Springer-Miller. The Syspro work would be based partially onsite at their property in Tanzania, and the Springer-Miller work at head office in Cape Town. Springer-Miller is the hospitality management software that they use to take and manage guest bookings and manage their guest CRM. Their occupancy and ABNR (rate) data comes from the reports they draw from Springer-Miller. They are a supplier to SMC, they use their software under license.

Must be a self-starter who can work without close supervision to lead this project, which will include engaging with operational management, teasing out their reporting requirements, consolidating these into a suite of reports, and then developing and testing these, and training local management in their implementation

Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) with Crystal reporting experience.
