JOB DESCRIPTION
 
Main Responsibility Area: Plans and executes technical tasks requiring specialist skills in own professional area. Works independently with the responsibility for solving customer request cases and reporting according to processes. Identifies and solves technical problems. Shares knowledge in own professional area. May support areas by participating in emergency and 24/7 duty.
 
Job Description: Release 4 NSN CS Core Network Elements operations
STP ( EXNSN) Operations & Maintenance
Managing Core KPIs
Coordination with third party vendor for integration / troubleshooting of various services ( i.e. Steering , anti-steering, call correction , SMS interception etc )
Resolution of trouble tickets raised by NOC / Customer / other SLM Teams
Escalation of complex faults to the next level of support – Care / PL or 3rd Parties
Follow-up with Care for open faults / technical
Liaison with other SLM team to resolve faults / technical issues
Liaison with Customer regarding technical queries & to incorporate in system
Detailed analysis of core Performance Data for faults
Supporting Core optimization team.
Actively participate in CS core equipment acceptance test for handover between delivery and MS/ Customer
Signaling traces ( protocol analyzer) analysis to resolve faults
Daily routine maintenance checks and operations
Liaison with Care / PL for network element upgrade ( change deliveries / Release upgrade / Patch set )
Development of O&M Procedures and implementation / Coordination with Process Consultant
 
DELIVERABLES / PERFORMANCE MEASURES (Goals and targets to be achieved, reporting etc.):
Problems solved or escalated to the correct group/team.
Core NE’s downtime decreased, meeting SLAs
Expansion on A interface / POI ( new or existing)
Re homing POIs / BSC’s / RNC’s
Integration of new BSCs / RNCs
Daily routine O&M of the core elements
Backup (Fall back / charging files)
Routing & numbering plan definition and changes
Circuit group management / Signaling links creation management and modifications / Digit analysis etc

 

Additional Requirements: 

At least 5 years hands on experience in NSN Rel 4 Core CS equipment along with minimum 7-10
 years hands on experience in operating core networks technologies. 

Experience in communicating with different groups/teams. 

Ability to adapt to work in a multicultural environment . 

Analytical and conceptual thinking, problem solving ability  Collaboration skills End user / Customer service orientation . Integrity and credibility , Good communication skills , Self motivated and ability to motivate other.
