USAID/TANZANIA DATA FOR DEVELOPMENT is a four year activity being implemented by Mendez England & Associates and NORC at the University of Chicago, to provide services that strengthen the production and analysis o high quality data and enable USAID, its implementing and local partners to make timely and evidence-based programmatic decisions to improve development outcomes in Tanzania. The activity consists of three components: 1) improved evaluation, Assessment, and Research Services; 2) Strengthened Performance Monitoring and Reporting; and 3) Building of internal and External Capacity.
NORC is currently seeking to hire three positions for this activity
1. Survey specialist to support all quantitative data collection activities including instrument design, selection of data collection firms, training of enumerators, oversight of fieldwork, and data entry and analysis.
2. Learning and Adapting specialist who will provide technical assistance and training to implementers and Tanzanian Intuitions
3. Local Institution specialist, to work closely with the Tanzanian government and private sector organizations to prepare development plans, provide training and technical assistance in M&E, coordinate capacity building and serve on for their relationship with the project.
