Helios Towers Operations and Engineering is undertaking a significant digital transformation initiative, with a focus on leveraging high-quality data from approximately 10,000 sites to enhance operational efficiency. We are currently in the third phase of this transformation, where there is a substantial opportunity to drive world-class operational efficiencies through critical insights.
To support this, we are looking for graduates to collaborate closely with our Performance Engineering teams in Tanzania and Senegal. The graduates will work on strategic projects that are vital to Helios Towers' goals, contributing directly to the development, testing, and deployment of innovative solutions that add tangible value to our Network Operations Centre (NOC), which monitors site performance, and the field teams responsible for maintaining equipment.
Key projects these graduates will engage in include:
- Proactive Power Alarms: Developing systems to predict and alert on potential power issues before they impact site performance.
- Automated Fuel Planning: Creating algorithms to optimize fuel usage and ensure efficient refueling schedules.
- Power Efficiency Alarms: Implementing alerts to identify and address inefficiencies in power usage.
- Optimizing Manpower Scheduling: Designing logic to optimize the deployment and scheduling of field personnel, ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Automated Site Control: Developing automated systems to control site operations remotely, reducing the need for manual interventions.
- Automated Site Configuration: Building tools to automate the configuration of site parameters, ensuring consistency and reducing errors.
- This is an exceptional opportunity for graduates to contribute to a critical strategic project within Helios
- Towers, helping to shape the future of our operations and drive significant value across our network.
