Overview
The Water and Sanitation Kigoma Region Project (WASKIRP) is a 5-year project which started in October 2017. It aims at providing sustainable access to safe drinking water in rural areas in Kigoma Region. The project is establishing Community Owned Water Supply Organizations (COWSO), constructing new water supply systems and rehabilitating existing schemes in six Districts in the Kigoma region besides facilitating improved domestic water management in the beneficiary communities.
The project now seeks to engage the services of the following:
District-Based Social Engineer
About the position
This is a three-year full-time position in WASKiRP, responsible for Kigoma and Uvinza Districts. The post holder will report to WASKiRP Project Manager and shall work closely with District Water Engineers (DWEs) and a Social Engineering Consultant to execute software aspects of the project. The District Social Engineer will directly supervise two Extension Workers at a water scheme level.
