Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Country Manager, the job holder is responsible for leading the sales team to ensure proper management and analysis of sales and trade marketing activities in order to increase distribution (RTM) and volumes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trade marketing activities - Managing Commercial Calendar, activation, Comm Assets,. Picture of success, Bus Review
  • Coaching and top check - Impart capability onto Sales Consultants and confirm what they do
  • Sales activities - Ensure a good relationship with our customers and create sufficient pull
  • Competitor activities - Ensure monitoring of changes in the marketplace that would potentially impact on our presence and market share
  • Analysis - Ensure all sales activities are monitored, tracked and evaluated to make sure we understand our market and act upon opportunities.

  • 100% Execution of Trade Marketing activities
  • Team performance
  • To create brand awareness and eventually preference of our brands in the outlets to grow volume
  • No surprises in the marketplace and growth of our brands as per plan
  • High quality of on-going team knowledge of the market based on which we can take decisions that can grow our business

Volume, distribution growth, Visibility Activations, cold availability

Experience, Qualifications and Functional Competencies:

  • University Degree
  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience in a multinational/FMCG/Mining/Banking
  • International working/education exposure
