ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
INDUSTRY: Manufacturing
On behalf of our reputable client, HR World Ltd is actively recruiting for an Electrical Engineer. The Electrical Engineer will provide technical support, supervise technicians, and ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Installation and commissioning of a Colour Coating Line, auxiliary equipment, and supporting infrastructure.
- Providing technical support to the electrical team and supervising technicians.
- Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Participating in the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets.
- Identifying potential issues and providing solutions to the Electrical Manager to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Supporting the commissioning and start-up of the electrical systems and ensuring they operate at the required performance levels.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues arising during the electrical system installation and commissioning.
- Working collaboratively with other departments, including mechanical, civil, and automation teams, to ensure the project is integrated and delivered as a complete system.
- Maintaining all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or any related field.
- 3+ years of experience in installing and commissioning electrical systems in the steel industry or related fields.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical systems, including installing and commissioning Colour Coating Lines and auxiliary equipment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
