Field Sales Supervisor (s) Location: Across Tanzania
The Position:
The Field Sales Supervisor supervises a team of Field Sales Leaders who are permanent employees and Field Sales Representatives that are non-permanent. The role requires leading compliance to current sales processes and policies and ensuring that both permanent and non-permanent employees adhere to these processes. A key component of the role is training and coaching the sales team on sales techniques, administration and products and managing the day to day activities of the team. The role, therefore, requires strong team supervisory competencies and the ability to implement tactical plans and coordinate with other departments.
The Field sales supervisor will also play an instrumental role in ensuring that the onboard ng and offboarding of new Field Sales representatives is executed flawlessly and will be the key point of contact between the Recruiting and Training team and also the sales administration team.
Primary Responsibilities:
What you’ll do:
- The FSS is responsible to understand, promote and adhere to:
- Company & country strategy and how the team contributes to achieving these strategies

- Other country policies
- The FSS must understand, operate and teach others to use:
- ZOLA App
- Surge Web
- Weekly & Daily Management Dashboards
- Looker
- The FSS must understand ZOLA’s Channel Strategy and how the team contributes to implementing this strategy
- The FSS is responsible for onboarding FSRs and FSLs into the team and also liaising v/ith the sales administrators for the offboarding process.
- The FSS should proactively motivate the subordinates and focus on keeping good morale within the team
- The FSS is responsible that the team’s FSLs & FSRs are active and achieve their targets.
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant Bachelor Degree
- 2-3 years of B2B or direct sales experience of which 1 year is in a supervisory capacity
- Core Skills that are mandatory for this role:
- Planning Cl Organising
- Tracking & Monitoring *1 Controlling
- Significant commercial and industrial business to business sales experience 3 Proven success in utilising interpersonal and sales skills at multiple levels to maximise sales
- Understanding the local business environment 3 Knowledge of basic financial principles

Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant Bachelor Degree in Sales and Marketing would be advantageous Work experience in Renewable energy or First Moving Consumer Goods (desired)
