DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. Maintaining accounting books pertaining to revenue and expenditure;
ii. Maintaining ledgers and ensuring that entries are accurate and up-to-date;
iii. Keeping custody all accounting documents pertaining to revenue and expenditure;
iv. Posting daily financial transactions and banking daily transactions;
v. Ensuring that procedures regarding revenue and expenditure accounting are strictly followed;
vi. Preparing estimates, monitoring trends, and appraising the supervisor accordingly;
vii. Preparing cash flow projections, bank reconciliation, and posting of all accounting transactions;
viii. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, and facilitating the audit of revenue transactions;
ix. Assisting in the preparation of periodic reports on the status of revenue trends;
x.Performing such other related duties as may be assigned by superiors from time to time.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A holder of First Degree in Finance Accounting or equivalent qualifications or related fields from a recognized University/Institution. Knowledge on fund management business will be an added advantage.
A Minimum of two years working experience in Investment, Accounting, Banking and Financial Matters or related field is required.
