RTI International is accepting Applications from qualified staff for the recently awarded USAID/Tanzania Tusome Pamoja Program(2016-2021) in Tanzania. The 5-year program assists the ministry of education to replicate scaleup reading, writing and arithmetic improvement interventions in schools with an emphasis on curriculum and materials development for grades 1-4 in Swahili and English. On behalf of the USAID/Tanzania, RTI will work with the regional, district, and ward personnel to implement reading, writing, and arithmetic reforms in four mainland regions of the country and Zanzibar, with support, give n to approximately 3000 public primary schools in the selected regions. Additionally, Tusome Pamoja will implement activities to engage communities and parents to further the goals of improved student learning outcomes.

Finance Specialist 3 to be based in Dar es Salaam
He/She Will provide function of supports to the senior finance manager; review and track expenses and other financial transactions; prepare and submit monthly expense reports to the RTI home office; and manage petty cash accounts. Working with FInance Spc-2 and assisted by finance officer, the Finance Spc-3 will provide support to the project in various financial management aspect, and the central and regional levels.
Qualifications: bachelor's degree in business/accounting or its equivalent from a recognized institution and 6 years relevant experience or equivalent. All masters degree and 3 years of experience. Knowledge of institutional accounting and budgeting practices especially those used by USAID; USAID and/Audit experience is a plus; Excellent computer skills including word, excel, and access; knowledge of QuickBooks preferred; fluency in English required
