On Behalf of Client, Melva International limited is urgently looking for high performing Finishing Supervisor to coordinate the finishing process and optimize the use of all resources and equipment in meeting and/or exceeding established goals.

Date of Joining: Immediate

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operations, such as assembling, cutting, planning, threading, or turning,
• Studies inspection reports or measures dimensions of the finished product to verify conformance to specifications, using calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments.
• Analyzes deviations from specifications and prescribes data to correct machine setup, using knowledge of machining operations.
• Inspects machinery to detect malfunction and directs repair or replacement of parts.
• Assist with the management of the site set up to include offices, facilities, parking, signage, vehicle, and pedestrian routes and material storage areas.
• Work with the Contracts Manager to implement design change as the works progress and programming, phasing, sequencing, and management of site-based resources to facilitate the complete project in an orderly and efficient manner.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree/Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering or any related field
• 3 years in similar responsibility level in identical industry Managerial Skill
• Block works setting out and mortar mix ( mixing ratio of cement, sand, and thickness of the layer )
• Plastering mortar mix ( ratio of cement sand mix )
• Floor and wall tiles setting out and knowledge of laying
• Knowledge of marking level for false ceiling
• Partly knowledge of sanitary fittings
• Joinery works, fixing of door frames and doors
• Final electrical fittings knowledge ( switches and sockets fixed in levels )
• Paints works
• MEP works
• Knowledge in Aluminum works
