General Manager

Wellness Foods Tanzania is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee and enhance our operations. This role is ideal for a leader with a strong background in agribusiness, strategic management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans to improve farm productivity, profitability, and sustainability.
• Lead and inspire a diverse team, ensuring effective communication, training, and performance management.
• Oversee daily farm operations, including layer hen management, vegetable production, maize, and soya farming.
• Manage budgets, optimize resources, and ensure compliance with biosecurity and safety standards.
• Drive revenue growth and achieve financial targets through efficient planning and innovative agricultural practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of managerial experience in the agricultural or food production industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to meet revenue targets, manage budgets, and streamline operations.
• Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and biosecurity protocols is an asset.
