Job Summary
The ideal candidate is expected to bring expertise in crafting and executing HR strategies, optimizing organizational structures, enhancing employee engagement, and driving overall business growth. This leadership role requires a proactive, solution-oriented approach to human resources and administration, aligning HR practices with business objectives while fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support the bank's business objectives and growth plans, with a focus on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and retention.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing insights and guidance on HR issues, including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Establish and review key performance indicators (KPIs) for individual, team, and organizational performance, utilizing data to assess and improve overall effectiveness.
- Developing a clear and appealing EVP that reflects the company's values, culture, career development opportunities, work-life balance, compensation packages, and other benefits.
- Aligning EVP with the bank's overall mission and business objectives, making sure the brand promises are consistent across all touchpoints, from recruitment marketing to employee engagement.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining competitive salary structures that are aligned with the bank standards, ensuring that compensation levels are attractive to top talent.
- Fosters a culture of continuous learning by encouraging employees to take ownership of their own professional development
- Ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains the best talent
- Represent the bank in all labor-related negotiations and discussions.
- Lead initiatives to streamline and optimize the bank's organizational structure to ensure agility, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure the integrity and security of HR data and records while maintaining confidentiality in line with best practices.
- Promote a results-driven culture within the HR function, establishing clear goals and objectives for the team.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required
Minimum Qualifications
- A holder of bachelor's degree in human resources, Public Administration, LLB or related Degree
Experience Required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources management
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the similar position preferably in a banking sector or financial services.
- Master's degree and Professional HR certifications are added advantages.
