HEAD OF ICT
INDUSTRY: BANKING
HR World on behalf of our reputable client we are looking for a Head of ICT to drive operational efficiency and leverage technology that will enable the Bank achieve its mission and vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Develop and set strategic direction on technology for the bank.
• Providing cost-effective control and governance of Information Technology (IT) to ensure that IT systems are well managed to support the business.
• Ensure compliance to regulations and internal policies in bank’s technological infrastructure and operations.
• Management of operations and capital expenditure budgets related to technology.
• Identify, assess, control, monitor, measure and report all risks to facilitate prudent management decisions.
• Ensure efficient planning and execution of technology-related projects across the bank.
• To enforce the bank’s ICT policies for good IT governance by ensuring that installations, systems configurations and user practices adhere to the industry standard and best practices.
• Provide leadership to the IT team in the subsidiary to achieve banks objective.
• Plan for appropriate training to keep updated with the latest technologies and banking trends.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer technology, ICT, Engineering or equivalent field.
• Minimum 5+ years relevant banking experience in progressive positions in IT space out of which 3 of them are in management level.
• Professional qualification and certification in banking and ICT field is an added advantage.
