Head of Production (Broiler)

HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Head of Production (Broiler) who will manage broiler health and well-being, preventing and treating diseases. Ensure proper feed and water quality and availability for broilers.

Responsibilities:

• Manages broiler contracts to ensure maximum quality and services.
• Maintains budgets for live costs.
• Directs programs for growing broilers for all contract broiler producers.
• Ensures that each business unit meets the daily demand for Live Operations, as it relates to performance and cost issues.
• Establishes programs to help drive performance for personnel and contractors.
• Maintaining optimal broiler house environment (temperature, ventilation, humidity and lighting)
• Lead farm crew in chick placement, litter management, and biosecurity practices.
• Maintain farm records on bird growth, feed consumption, mortality, and medication usage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Agriculture, Poultry Science, Animal Production, or a related field
• Relevant experience of at least 8 years in poultry broiler management
• Strong communication skills, the ability to work under time constraints, and the ability to multitask and prioritize work
• A strong sense of urgency, initiative, and the ability to lead a team
