Overview

KaziniKwetu Ltd on behalf of the client is looking for Heavy Machine Operators. Our client is a reputable international construction company. All qualified candidates should apply online. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the dozer and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Understand, interpret and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.
• Operate dozer controls to regulate height and angle of the dozer blade to loosen packed soil to permit grading.  
• Feel levers and listen to equipment sounds to determine depth of the cut.
• Drive Dozer in successive passes over construction surface to raise or lower terrain to specified grade, following markings on grade stakes or hand signals.  
• Use the Dozer to level soil, move rock and debris, and scoop soil.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the grader.
• Demonstrate an understanding of grades and interpret roadway plans and drawings. 

 Qualifications: 

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within the MINING industry
• 2 to 3 years’ experience operating a heavy equipment is required.
• Technical Knowledge of heavy equipments.
• Heavy Equipment Operation  
• Multi-task and set priorities effectively
• Excellent hand, eye and foot coordination
