Overview
INTEGRATED RURAL DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION (IRDO) is a Rural based organization situated in Ileje District in Songwe region Southern highlands of Tanzania and is registered NGO under Tanzania NGO act of 2002 and works to cover Tanzania mainland. The organization is expecting to sign a contract with HJF Medical Research International (HJFMRI/MHRP) to implement comprehensive community-based HIV/AIDS services in Momba District and Tunduma Town council for financial year 2018/2019.
The organization is an exciting and rewarding place to work, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Focal person for HIV Testing and Counseling (HTC), Focal person for Prevention activities and HIV Testing Counselors who are committed to its mission and values. They will be joining a highly motivated staff with a good team spirit and there will be opportunities to grow in the role.
Summary of the Position
Job Title: HIV testing counselors - 3 Position
Reports to: Program Coordinator
Location: Working for Momba DC (operating from Kamsamba, Chitete, and Tunduma)
The HIV testing counselors will work closely with Local Government officials,
Partner(s) Community and other stakeholders in implementing HIV testing and referral services in Momba District.
Primary Responsibilities
- HTC providing services in the hot spots areas in the district.
Desired Qualifications: - A holder of diploma/certificate in nursing or other health related.
