Post: Human Resources Officer
Reports to: Huma Resources Manager
Core Job Description: providing human resources services and support to the employees and departments in the company.
Key Accountabilities
- Arrangement and coordinating recruitment process for junior and senior staff employees in collaboration with the recruitment department
- Overseeing engagement process including preparation of employment contracts for the newly recruited junior staffs
- Organizing and coordinating induction process for the newly recruited senior staff as per TPC procedures
- Providing advice to respective department regarding Tanzanian labor laws, HR policies and procedures, and other recommended HR best practices
- Providing support regarding disciplinary issues, preparation of charge letters, coordinating and participating in the disciplinary hearings as per TPC disciplinary procedures
- Assisting on the implementation of staff performance management process as per TPC performance management policy
- Preparing termination letters/notices and terminal benefits for junior staff basing on the grounds of termination and as per the governing labor laws or the company policy
- Advising the human resource manager on the matters relating to updating of HR policies and procedures
- Providing administrative support and whenever any other assistance may be required on various responsibilities of the HR department
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned

Personal Specifications
Holder of Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management (BHRM or MHRM), sociology or Business Administration. A combination of relevant academic qualifications and 2 years experience in the position of human resources officer
