Insurance Operations Officer

HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for an Insurance Operations Officer who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the company’s operational activities across various departments, including administration, underwriting, claims processing, sales and marketing, and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize company records, documents, and files in both physical and digital formats
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements (e.g., TIRA, TRA)
  • Oversee office supplies, inventory, logistics, and facility maintenance
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, reports, and follow up on action items
  • Support the HR function in matters related to staff records, timesheets, leave, and general welfare
  • Assist in receiving and reviewing insurance proposals from clients
  • Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely preparation of quotations and policy documents
  • Evaluate documentation for completeness and compliance before submission to insurers
  • Monitor policy issuance and renewals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Receive initial claims notifications from clients and guide them through the claims process
  • Collect and verify all required claims documentation
  • Liaise with insurance companies for claim lodgment, assessment, and settlement
  • Keep clients updated on the status of their claims and escalate issues where necessary
  • Assist in executing marketing campaigns and outreach activities to promote the company’s insurance products and services
  • Prepare marketing materials and ensure consistency with brand guidelines
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high standards of customer service
  • Address client inquiries promptly and professionally and escalate complex issues when needed
  • Timely and accurate processing of underwriting and claims tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree in Insurance, Accounting, or any other related field
  • 5+ years of experience working as an Insurance Operations Officer
  • Strong knowledge of insurance operations and processes
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with insurance management software
