STAMIGOLD Company Limited – Biharamulo Mine is a subsidiary company of the State  Mining Corporation (STAMICO) operating a gold mine. The Mine is located in the  Biharamulo Forest Reserve, South West of Mwanza in the Kagera Region. In order to run the mine effectively and efficiently, the Company invites applications from qualified  Tanzanians to fill the existing vacant post as detailed below: - 

Work Station: Biharamulo Mine Site. 

Contract Duration: Four years, subject to renewal.  

Internal Auditor (01) Post 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Conducts timely implementation of risk-based internal audits complying with  annual audit plan and international standards of audit (ISA); 
• Evaluates internal controls suitability, efficiency, and effectiveness;
• Identifies level of conformance with established rules, regulations, policies, and  procedures; 
• Participates in audit engagement planning, reporting, scoping, execution and  follow-up as defined; 
• Prepares audit reports including the audit findings and appropriate corrective  actions initiated; 
• Evaluates risk management activities within the organization; 
• Supports the development of internal audit programs for operational audits and  special reviews; 
• Compiles and implements the annual Internal Audit plan as well as other plans;
• Makes follow up on both Internal and External Audits to monitor the management’s intervention towards implementation; 
• Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate Supervisor.

• Conversant with laws, rules, regulations, and International Standards of Auditing (ISA); 
• Excellent accounting and IT skills; 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; 
• Excellent documentation and communication skills; 
• Able to complete tasks in a timely manner at desirable standards.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Holder of Bachelor's degree in either Accounting, Finance or related field from a  recognized institution; 
• Holder of Certified Public Accountant (CPA); 
• At least two years’ experience in the Auditing field; 
• Work Experience in reputable Audit firms and the Mining sector will be an added advantage.
