IT TECHNICIAN - 2 POSITIONS
INDUSTRY: EQUIPMENTS AND SUPPLIES
HR World Limited on behalf of our client we are looking for an IT Technician who will research and gather prices of various IT & computer equipment from local and international suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery time
• Prepare and submit tender documents to suppliers, including quotations and specifications
• Negotiate prices with suppliers to ensure the best possible deal for the company
• Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and prices
• Analyze and compare prices from different suppliers to ensure that the company is getting the best value for its money
• Prepare reports on the results of price research and tendering activities
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost estimates for IT projects
• Provide technical support to project managers and other stakeholders on IT-related issues
• Conduct regular audits of IT equipment to ensure compliance with company
  standards and regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment
• Troubleshoot issues related to IT equipment, including hardware, software, and networking
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of IT systems
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS;

• Diploma in Information Technology, computer science or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Strong understanding of technical knowledge of ICT equipment and technology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexible to work in office and on site.
