Mkombozi Commercial Bank PLC operates as a fully-fledged Commercial Bank since 2009 . The Bank offers wide spectrum of banking services and wishes to expand its business operations and thus invite suitable applicants who will demonstrate end-to-end business acumen in the following positions.
LEGAL SERVICES OFFICER (1)
Reporting line Legal Services Manager
Duty Stations Dar es salaam Terms Full time
Key Focus
Provide advice on all legal and related matters and draft contracts, conveyance and other legal instrument centered into by board of directors of the bank
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare legal contracts between the Bank and other parties.
- Prepare plaints, summons, defense, affidavits, counter-affidavits, petitions, applications, written statements of defense, court claims, etc, in favor of the Bank.
- Attend court cases in which the bank is a party.
- Verify correctness of information in loan agreements, securities and other legal documents before submission to the Director of Legal Services.
- Collect information and submit to management for updating and court case database.
- Conducting probate administration for and on behalf of the bank
- Designing and reviewing standard loan documents and securities
- Checking whether the documents, contracts, and pleadings have been properly drawn.
- Keeping contracts, loan agreements and securities in safe custody.
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws Work Experience
- At Least 3 years of work experience in a similar Capacity preferably in the Banking and Finance sector or Manufacturing sector Desirable Skills
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Computer-aided tools for Bank Reconciliations.

- Curriculum vitae enclosing details of work experience, skills and with postal and telephone contacts of three non-relative referees.
- Certified Copies of academic Certificates and all other submitted certificates.
- Applicants must be a self-motivated person who can work under tight time frames with minimal supervision.
- Applicants must be Fluent in English & Swahili with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
