Role purpose:

The Legal Specialist shall be responsible to provide operational legal support in the legal team, effective legal services to the company and play a link role between the legal team and internal and external stakeholders on assigned matters.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• Drafting sales and supplier contracts, lease agreements, non-disclosure agreements, terms and conditions, and memos.
• Overseeing the execution of contracts in line with the company Delegation of Authority (DOA), legal policies and procedures.
• Ensuring that each supplier has a valid contract by liaising with responsible line management and assessing the availability
• Managing consumer complaints and provide feedback to the Tanzania Regulatory Authority as required by Regulations.
• Managing records of company disputes and ensuring timely submission of status reports  to different internal stakeholders 
• Ensuring timely availability of legal advice and support to line management pertaining to various business issues as and when required.
