Position: Loan Officer

Working Station: Dar es Salaam

Company: ELM Enterprises co. ltd

Main Business: Microfinance and Insurance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

i. Marketing loans products, meet with loans applicants to identify their potentiality, Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, financial statements, and other financial information.

ii. Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.

iii. Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services.

iv. Submit Clients loan applications to Credit Manager for verification and recommendation.

v. Compute payment schedules

vi. Making loan collections and follow up to overdues loans.

vii. Analyze active loan files on a regular basis and recommend solutions to speed up the loan process and making a follow up for repayments.

viii. Posting customers loans and repayments

ix. Producing monthly reports to management related to customers you are serving

x. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of Degree in Business studies

2. Experience in sales of Microfinance is must

3. Computer literate

4. Experience in Sales will be an added advantage
