LOGISTICS OFFICER
INDUSTRY: MANUFACTURING
On behalf of our reputable client, HR World Ltd is looking for a Logistics Officer to supervise all aspects of logistics within a supply chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES;

• Manage vendor relationships making deliveries and reporting on-time performance.
• Perform administrative duties, ensuring paper and electronic records are stored, organized, and maintained by company procedures
• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
• Ensure premises, assets, and communication ways are used effectively
• Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
• Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g., truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
• Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers, etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
• Plan and track final products according to the site requirements
• Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders, etc.
• Act in an assigned emergency response capacity as required to meet emergency assistance needs.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS;

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Transport Management or a related degree.
• At least 4 years of working experience.
• Experience in Manufacturing Industry is a bonus.
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software.
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
