Qualifications:

We are seeking an energetic and responsible Tracking Officer to join our team, responsible for handling the long-haul truck tracking and controlling the drivers for our logistics company. The ideal candidate will have a background in logistics, driver handling exposure, knowledge of the insurance process, road transportation rules, and system knowledge. With a mindset to develop the logistics business to maximize fleet utilization and make the business profitable.

The Tracking Officer will be responsible for individual truck-wise revenue generation and the growth of the logistics business with a profitable margin.

Job Role:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinating and Placement of Trucks:

    • Ensure timely placement of trucks for both EAF and external transport customers at the right location.
    • Plan and execute each long-haul truck scheduling to maximize usage time.
    • Minimize "idling" hours for each truck, excluding driver rest hours and scheduled halts.
    • Monitor loading and unloading times, escalate issues, and release trucks if held up abnormally.
    • Bill and collect demurrage if loading/unloading times exceed agreed norms.
  2. GPS-Enabled Long-Haul Truck Tracking:

    • Adhere to transit time and take action to maintain efficiency.
    • Work 24/7 to monitor fleet movements, ensuring high-level efficiency using the tracking team.
  3. Long-Haul Truck Driver Deviation Management:

    • Monitor speed limits, night halts, route deviations, transit time adherence, and abnormal enroute halts.
    • Manage driver-related issues such as traffic fines and route deviations.
  4. Coordination with Insurance and Statutory Payments:

    • Handle insurance agency coordination, renewals, claims, and Latra payments on time.
    • Coordinate with external customers to plan weekly schedules and ensure truck availability.
    • Hire long-haul trucks from the market within budget cost.
    • Coordinate with finance to follow payment processes for hired trucks.
  5. Achieving Revenue Targets and KPIs:

    • Achieve transport revenue targets and gross margins as per the budget.
    • Meet transport-related KPIs within the timeline.
    • Handle all truck-related insurance, Latra, and other statutory payments.
    • Recover insurance claims in case of accidents.
  6. Coordination with Authorities:

    • Coordinate with police and related authorities to collect required documents on time.
    • Maintain all internal records for transport business online and submit reports as per guidelines.
