Tanzania Posts Corporation (TPC) is a national designated Public Postal operator established by Act of Parliament No. 19 of 1993 and became operational on 1st January 1994. The Corporation is wholly owned by the Government of Tanzania and is dedicated to improving people’s lives. Currently, the Corporation is inviting qualified team players to join the Corporation’s major transformation initiatives and all the following vacancies;
POSITION TITLE: MANAGER HUMAN RESOURCES (1 POST)
Entry Qualifications
- A holder of Master’s Degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration, Human Resource Management or its equivalent with computer knowledge from recognized higher learning Institution.
- At least nine (9) years of working experience out of which, five (5 ) years should be at the senior position.
Duties and responsibilities
- To Oversee/supervise all human resource matters.
ii. To developing and formulating human resources plans, policies and strategies that will play a key role in the transformation of the Corporations into dynamic Organization.
iii. To ensure safety and security of all assets in the department.
iv. Ensuring quality, timely and cost effective human resources activities in the Corporation.
v. Build teamwork within the Corporation.
vi. Fostering good Industrial Relation in the Corporation.
vii. To develop comprehensive policies and procedures on recruitment, remuneration, staff
training and development.
viii. Developing, monitoring and updating Corporation performance management system.
ix. Interpreting and up keeping Corporation’s staff and regulations and stating orders and
ensuring that line managers are advised of any changes in procedures and policies.
x. Coordinating and administering labor disputes and grievances handling in line with labor laws and any other relevant laws.
xi. Handling/Coordinating employment cases before the court of law and other tribunals.
xii. Coordinating and administering Human resources welfare activities including medical,
healthcare, annual leave records and claims from employees.
xiii. Designing and implementing activities such as conditions of services, remunerations and benefits and employees relations.
xiv. Coordinate the rationalization and alignment of staffing levels at post offices.
xv. Coordinate the annual staff performance appraisal.
xvi. Make a technical analysis of disciplinary cases from the field and make appropriate
recommendations.
xvii. In consultation with General Manager Business operations authorize inter-regional staff transfers.
xviii. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned.
Remuneration:
The above post carries competitive remuneration as per Tanzania Posts Corporation salary
structure and incentive package.
Duty station
Successful candidate will be stationed at Tanzania Posts Corporation Headquarters
